Privacy Statement Harvest Fields International (HFI)

Stichting HFI processes personal data and other information in accordance with applicable laws. We consider your privacy very important and handle your personal data with care. Your personal data is used exclusively by us or on our behalf and is not made available to third parties. Below is exactly what you can expect from us and the rules we adhere to.

Applicability
This privacy statement applies to the processing of:

  • Personal information provided by members, donors, contacts, and volunteers, and
  • Data obtained from your visit to and use of our website.

Processing of Your Data
HFI maintains a partner administration, which also records personal data of other contacts. Contacts are individuals who have attended an event, harvest home, or an HFI activity, or have subscribed to our newsletter.

HFI is a foundation for global mission and calls on its contacts through actions and campaigns to contribute to the objectives of our foundation. HFI’s work is mainly funded by donations from partners. We collect personal data (name, address, place of residence, phone number, email address, and date of birth) to inform you about our work and to request financial support for it. The collection of personal data occurs through the website when you sign up for our newsletter or when you sign up as a partner. HFI occasionally uses third-party services to supplement and update the contact list. In all cases, we ask you for explicit consent for this.

Financial data and personal data are collected to fulfill the partnership agreement. These data are not provided to third parties for commercial purposes. HFI has ANBI status (currently being applied for).

Access, Modify, or Delete Data
You can request access to the data we have stored about you at any time or request to have it modified or deleted. You can submit your changes to the HFI administration by phone (during office hours, +31 6 18019944) or by email: info@harvestfieldsinternational.com.

You can also request not to be kept informed about our activities anymore. HFI is obliged to request proof of identity before providing you with information about your personal data in our records. You can also submit a request by mail, including your name, address, phone number, and a copy of a valid identification document, addressed to the HFI administration, Molenweg 59, Maastricht.

Email
If you have provided your email address to HFI as a newsletter subscriber or partner, you will be informed by email to keep you updated on our work, achievements, and occasional requests for financial contributions.

When sending email newsletters, HFI uses a system that provides insight into how these emails are opened. It is also possible to see if you click on the links in our email. This allows HFI to optimize and tailor its information to your interests. Our registration system also allows us to make selections, enabling us to reach specific target groups more effectively.

HFI informs its members and donors about its work through newsletters, events, and/or social media. Regularly, requests are made to support HFI’s work with financial contributions and prayers.

HFI has taken technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing.
